This page features trees around Suffolk which our members consider the be significant. Som are in public places and some are not. Where they are able to be visited without formalities their locations will be given. Others are on private land and special permission will be needed.
Gilden Acre Veteran Oak with a girth of over 6m. This is probably the largest of the many Veteran Oaks in Helmingham Park. Set in Gilden Acre, a wooded corner of the Park, it is surrounded by other large oaks, some of which are succumbing to disease.
